Sustainable education at Bunbury Catholic College has been in operation since 2010. The objectives of the program have been to increase awareness of some of the problem areas in relation to the earth’s ability to sustain all living creatures and to stress to all people how to be effective and persistent stewards of the earth. The College is proud to be both a Water Wise and Waste Wise school.

Students and staff have undertaken many projects at the school including

  • Food Garden
  • Paper Recycling
  • Fruit Orchard
  • Green Team
  • Worm Farms
  • Herb Garden
  • Green Team

The ‘Green Team’ is a student run sustainability group who devise and manage sustainability projects at the school. Some of their projects include Animal Awareness Week raising money for SAFE and Adopt a Bin to encourage recycling.
