The Year Eleven Earth and Environmental Science class visited Peppermint Grove and Cottesloe Beach, on excursion. The day was run by Jo Watkins, an enthusiastic Earth Scientist who spoke about the sedimentary structures found in the surrounding cliff faces, which we all found very interesting. It was amazing to have the theory we learnt in class supplemented by such valuable practical experience.
A special thank you to Mr Hegney for driving us to Perth on the day.
