Elson Cup

8 Mar 2017

Jacqui Granger News

After three weeks, the Elson cup ladder is starting to take shape. The Gym has been packed to the brim each lunchtime to see the ‘Doobz’ stamp their authority on the competition as they sit atop the ladder with 2 wins and a draw. From there the ladder gets very tight with only 2 points and a goal difference separating 2nd through to  5th. The Year 11 ‘Whipping boys’ are languishing in last place winless after playing some unregistered players and struggling to control the larger bodied year 12’s.

There has been some outstanding individual performances from Frazer Wray, who has picked up two ‘Player of the Match’ awards, as well as Craig ‘Too high’ Kamocha and Quinn Johnston.
The final two weeks of the regular season will be very interesting to see who makes it to the knockout phase.
