A number of BCC students attended the GRIP (G – generosity, R – responsibility, I – Integrity, P – People) Leadership Conference. There were 27 students in total from Years 10 and 11 from both the Mercy and Marist Campuses.
The conference delivers specific leadership training that assists them in developing their skills as school leaders for the future. It is a really fun, fresh and interactive day that allows the students to work and network with other leaders from other schools.
Our students should be extremely proud of themselves, stepping outside their comfort zones and participating in all sorts of games and activities. They shared their own experiences and voiced their opinions and really got involved in the spirit of the day. Some were even brave enough to volunteer to be on stage, including Mr Obern with his original dance moves.
A big thanks to all of the students who attended, your behaviour was outstanding and you made the most of this great opportunity. I hope that you all took something away from the conference and that it left you feeling inspired and enthusiastic about what is possible at Our College!
