Through quality teaching and learning in an environment enlivened by Christ’s spirit of love, justice and freedom, Bunbury Catholic College strives to empower students to achieve their potential, as our gift to God.
In the Marist tradition of education, we follow the principle “to bring up children properly, we must love them and love them all equally”. From this flows the particular characteristics of the Marist style of educating: presence, simplicity, family spirit, love of work and following the way of Mary.
We combine this at BCC with the Mercy values of compassion, justice, excellence, integrity and service. We strive to be living proof of social consciousness; altruistic, focussed on recognising the needs of others and addressing them. We challenge our students to walk in the footsteps of Jesus by giving back to the community and continuing to live these values all of their lives.
We aim to create an environment which enables individuals to develop spiritually, intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially. At BCC we want each student to have a memorable and enjoyable holistic education. The dedicated staff encourage the students to become future leaders through a tradition of academic rigour but also through fostering in them a love of God, preparing them for the world of university, work and adult responsibility, so they may participate in society in a committed and responsible manner.
