Jacqui Granger News

BCC students Courtney Lee, Kyle Lee and Georgia Gianotti  swam in a 4 Person Relay Team (with Ross Rann from Busselton) called “Shark Tale” in the Rottnest Channel swim on Saturday and came first in their category – an incredible effort.  They swam 19.7km in the Lavan Charity Challenge wave in a cracking time of 5.02.05.24.

The three BCC students also competed in the Busselton Jetty swim recently. Courtney and Kyle both came 3rd in the Male and Female Open Category and Georgia Gianotti in her first Open Water swim came 6th for her 14 year old age group. Impressive results.

Courtney and Kyle attending the Open Water Nationals in Adelaide on the 28 January 2017.  They both swam in the 5km Open Water event.  Kyle placed 8th and Courtney placed 15th in Australia.

Past staff member, Ms Jo Sykes also completed a solo swim with a time of 9 hours and 20mins!
