Senior Boys Basketball

11 Aug 2016

Jacqui Granger News Marist Campus, Mercy Campus, Physical Education

The team’s last game was fittingly a re-match of their first and only loss against Bunbury Senior High. In a very entertaining and quality affair, the BCC team showed their improvements as a group by winning their last match and settling scores even against their opponents 65-58. As always, the play of Clayton Dickinson, Lucas Goff and Craig Kamocha was at its high standard but it was senior, Jordan Falco, who dominated the play inside on both ends of the floor. Jordan displayed an array of offensive moves that the defense could not stop while displaying his defensive versatility in containing BSHS’s best forays into the rim. Fellow post player Dom Dagostino toiled hard all game while Pat Wright put aside his personal frustrations and contributed positively to the team’s performance.
It has been a pleasure coaching this team of talented and enthusiastic young men and they are to be commended for their efforts in not only games but regular trainings as well. We set a very high bar for commitment and this group met us at every request and challenge. The future is indeed very bright with basketball in the school.
