World Youth Day Krakow

11 Aug 2016

Jacqui Granger News

Father Jess Navarro is leading a group, which includes 7 BCC students, to attend World Youth Day in Krakow, Poland. The seven students are Danniele Garcia, Hayley and Caitlyn Tagliaferri, Carol Karanja, Charlee Woodcock, John Ncube and John Echanes. The 19 pilgrims who received their T-shirts at a sending off Mass at Christ the Living Vine, Australind, last Sunday (pictured above) flew out this week and, on their way to Krakow, will visit the birthplace of Pope John Paul II, the birthplace of Maximilian Kolbe, Auschwitz Concentration Camp and an undergound salt mine Cathedral where Fr Jess will celebrate Mass. They will then attend the 7 day World Youth Day Festival, whilst staying in a Franciscan Convent.  It should truly be a very special experience.
