PICK UP & DROP OFF

Orientation Day will begin in the College Hall. Please enter the College from Rodsted Street — just a quick note, there’s no entry via Petherick Street.

We ask that parents and guardians arrange to have their child arrive by 8:25am for an 8:30am start and collected by 2:30pm.

We prefer students not travel by bus on the day. However, if this is your only option, please confirm these arrangements with the bus service provider ahead of Orientation Day.

To help things run smoothly during drop-off, we encourage a ‘kiss and drop’ approach where possible. Our friendly student leaders will be there to guide your child safely to the College Hall.

WHAT TO WEAR AND BRING ALONG

What to Wear:

  • Students should wear their current primary school sports uniform

  • A hat (remember: no hat, no play!)

  • Enclosed sports shoes

What to Bring:

  • A water bottle

  • Morning tea and lunch

  • A fully stocked pencil case

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

  • Clearly label all your child’s belongings – this makes it easier for us to return lost items

  • If your child has a medical condition requiring medication, a treatment plan, or an EpiPen, please contact the College Nurse before Orientation Day
  • If someone other than a parent will be picking up your child at the end of the day, please let us know their name and contact details ahead of time

Note: The Year 7 Orientation Day is exclusively for students who have accepted a place at the College for 2026.
