Artist Extraordinaire

BCC alumnus Christine Blowfield is the Artist in Residence for Art Extraordinaire 2025!
Christine is a multi‑award winning acrylic artist based in the South West, whose vibrant large‑format canvases bring the region’s unique flora and landscapes to life through bold colour, rich texture, and immersive perspective.

With works featured in both national and international collections, she marries environmental appreciation with emotive storytelling through her art.

Christine’s captivating portrayal of the Pilbara ‘Cast of Light – View from Mount Sheila’ recently won the People’s Choice at the 2025 Cossack Art Awards.

It will be a joy and an honour to have such a passionate Artist in Residence. You can see Christine in her Art Extraordinaire creative space throughout the exhibition on the weekend of October 25-26.
