Students at Bunbury Catholic College have the opportunity to share the excitement and joy of being part of a grand theatre production. They may be part of the stage crew, join the choir, play a musical instrument or tread the boards to act or create a song and dance.
We are proud of our history in the performing arts which has meant many students making the leap from rehearsals in the Performing Arts Centre on campus, to wowing audiences on the big stage at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre.
Mary Poppins
The producer of Mary Poppins says it may sound like a cliché but he truly cannot thank enough the many people who supported our College production.
“People often ask which show has been my favourite, and of course I would never compare productions; however, this one felt particularly special,” Assistant Deputy Principal – Pastoral Care Gerard Robertson said.
“One of the reasons was the consistent and ongoing support from our College community throughout the entire process. It is a wonderful feeling to know that support is there. I would especially like to acknowledge our major sponsors, Geographe Law and Xpress Outdoors, whose generosity helped make this production possible.
“I was overwhelmed by the number of messages that came through to the College congratulating our cast and crew. They were a wonderful reminder of the impact this production had on our community and a testament to the dedication and talent of our students and staff.”
