Senior School: Personalised and Flexible Learning

Senior School at Bunbury Catholic College is an exciting time where students take charge of their learning and shape their future. Whether aiming for university, TAFE, employment, or further training, our flexible pathways ensure every student can find success.

The College prides itself on the breadth of curriculum options available, providing multiple pathway options for individual students to find their niche. Senior students mix and match subjects and learning strategies from within our pathways — ATAR, General, or Vocational Education & Training — where a broad range of courses gives our students unrivalled flexibility. Students at BCC have the opportunity to build unique learning portfolios to showcase their skills.

The Bunbury Regional Trade Training Centre on our campus offers students nationally recognised qualifications in a range of industries from plumbing and civil construction to education support. We have enrolled students attending South Regional TAFE to study part time, giving them hands on skills in specialist fields, and through the Health Science Hub, students may complete industry-aligned online courses during class time.

Please refer to our comprehensive curriculum guide for more detailed information on pathways and subjects offered at BCC.

In keeping with our Catholic tradition, Religious Education is an integral part of the curriculum and is studied by all students. The core learning areas of English, Mathematics, Humanities, Science and Religious and Physical Education are complemented by a diverse range of electives in The Arts, Languages, Design and Technology, Digital Technology and Vocational Education and Training.

The Curriculum is balanced to develop the Spiritual, Academic, Cultural and Sporting potential of students. It also prepares them for living in an increasingly technological and changing world.
